A fabulous day for washing quilts. This is one of the first quilts made with my own dyed fabric. Free cut and hand quilted.
The inspiration was utilitarian quilts made in Durham with scraps of fabric to hand. I love the ripple effect achieved after years of use. It is also perfect weather for dyeing up a batch of threads, that's this afternoon sorted! Tiggy

I have refreshed the workshop page for 2019 which shows the workshops available for groups, also information on Summer Workshops held at my home. I caught up with a great deal of reading which I guess was bit of a treat(!) No housework or cooking possible, but Keith was fantastic. So, weeks of just lazing around and getting better. That was a tough job. My studio has had a grand spring clean, bags of 'rubbish' thrown out (amazing what can accumulate over a year). So now I'm gearing up for 2019 group workshops in the West Country. My summer workshops will take place at my home as usual. For details see Workshops page. So, I'm back in action. Enough for today. More to follow soon Tiggy |
