they look good enough to eat and I didn't have to trample in the mud to pick them
three weeks since I blogged, but I have been busy thread boxes full packs on thread in the shop
Summer Workshops have started, and the first outing to West Country Embroiderers in Totnes, Devon. Workshop stuff packed the day before. Early start and all was going to plan. Until............. around the halfway point there was a strange noise in the car. Was it the wind? No, it was a puncture. Grrrrrrrrrrrrr. The very nice RAC man only took an hour to get to me from Exeter. Not just a puncture but a split tyre, which meant he had to go back to Exeter to buy a new one. So, three hours later the car was road worthy again.
The only sensible thing to do was cancel the workshop and rearrange another date. Driving home through torrential Spring showers I reflected on the situation and count myself lucky that in over fifteen years of driving to workshops all over the country this was a first.
I'm ready for another WCE workshop tomorrow on Mirror Work and it's just up the road, so to speak!
