A little unscheduled break from Blogland.

Did you know that there is one bone in your foot without a muscle to support it?!!!   I thought I had merely sprained my ankle, agony for two weeks.  Hop,, hop.   Read books, caught up with stitching.
Prepared fabric for the indigo vat, and not a lot more.

Fortunately when the Canford Needlework Festival came round I could manage a reasonable hobble and with help from Keith who transported goodies from the Emporium, I was good to go, so to speak.

It was a great day and so nice to catch up with friends and do a little shopping myself.

                                                          the remains of the day
once a full to overflowing basket!

So, after treatment from Annalise my foot and body are realigned and it feels so good.   Note to self
'curb your enthusiasm'.   Do not go mad in the garden and take things easy.   Better still, get someone else to do the heavy work!

Now it's time to recuperate in the sun for a week.   Greece, we're packed.
