The last indigo workshop took place on Friday. It was cool in the morning though by the afternoon there was warmth from the sun, enough to produce beautiful blue cloth. Yesterday it rained stair rods! This morning is beautiful so no excuses. Indigo vat/buckets to be washed out, ditto pole wrapping pipes. Everything packed away until next summer. It was a fantastic Indigo Summer. I have two more workshops in October, after which I will give my room a good sort out! ![]() I am planning to publish four books in the coming months. Hot of the press is a book about Indigo and shibori, based on my workshops. It includes techniques, a little history of shibori, myself and the indigo vat recipe. I am delighted with my first book. It has been designed and published in house by the talented Mr. Rawling. They are available to purchase. Contact me. Payment by PaylPal or Bank Transfer. Cost £8.50 plus postage and packing. The next books in the pipe line covers Indian Mirror work, Indian appliqué and Kantha. Tiggy

So, I am back on line at last. My laptop was getting slower and slower and very difficult to deal with. As of two days ago, I have a new computer. A whole new learning curve. What a fantastic summer it was. Days on Studland beach, walks in the beautiful Dorset countryside. Indigo workshops producing beautiful dark blue cloth, stitching workshops under the sun. As I write the wind is blowing hard, hmmm, I think is definitely autumn. So apart from enjoying myself I have produced a book on Indigo and Shibori. I was so excited I managed to delete my website. Thanks to Joh at Weebly Help Centre, and a great deal of searching, he found it and here we are! still coming to terms with the new computer and having to use a
mouse for the first time in years. Somewhere in the system is a photo of The Book. I am now going to try my Indigo page and will add details there Oh, I think I need a cup of tea and a sit down in a comfy chair! it's good to be back. Tiggy |
